A nice little 'filler' chapter. Got caught up on Hermione and her beau and Neville and Hannah and what problems the new Minister is having. Looking forward to the next chapter. I hope you can update soon.

Loads two AK's into a double barreled shotgun...
Damn it backfired....
Crys replied:
Treck, hasn't anyone ever told you that killing the author (twice, even) REALLY bad for the update rate?

Oh, my, a nice cliffie!! Anyone giving odds on the cause of the cold? If it's the cause I'm thinking, I'll bet someone didn't expect Harry to be there and is going to be rather uncomfortably surprised.

Love it! Is the sudden coldness due to Dementors?

Do you honestly expect me to answer this question?

You're EVIL!! I've been waiting for an update for ages, and now you give us an cliffie??!??!
Evil, I tell you!
Other than the cliffie (*glares*) this is a very nice chapter :) I like the dialogue between Harry and Hermione. You made it clear that their friendship runs deep :)
Thanks for sharing.
Chris

Your control of your keyboard is slipping, Chris. Or was the the automatic "family censor" kicking in?
Other than that, thanks for the review. (And I'm not evil. Saying that an attack was occurring on F&G and then not updating that story for 15 months is evil.)

I loved how Remus maked Ripper keel over dead. That was priceless. I'm also pleased with the threats Harry made to Vernon. Dudley, though he really isn't much better, at least isn't as violent or cruel as he usually is.
I sincerely hope you have an update planned for this month. I love this story a lot.

what is a bunny? oh and great story.
Crys replied:
A "bunny" is shorthand for a plot idea. In this case, I read another story (HermanTumbleweed's "Rising Phoenix"), liked one plot element in it (Ripper getting scared - literally - to death) and used the idea in my own story. As it wasn't my idea, I gave credit for it.

Nice story. I might have liked to see the Dursleys get more of what they deserve, but Harry has to have at least a little bit of characer, doesn't he?
I liked the part about Harry as Metamorphamagus (though JKR says he isn't one), but I think you took a wrong turn (even if a bit interesting) when you started talked about it as if it were explainable by science (shifting of muscles and fatty tissue, etc.). This is magic, after all. And as for having to retain one's mass. I think the situation of a Animagus is applicable here -- neither McGonagall nor Pettigrew nor Skeeter (and probably not Sirius nor James for that matter) retain their mass in their transformations. So I think the mass limitation is a bit unlikely for a magical transfiguration.

This isn't the end of the Dursleys is it? You made it seem that Harry has something planned for them later. Yet it seems that there may be a chance for reconcilliation with Dudley. We all want to be loved by our family. Good chapter. I'm looking forward to the next.

This is the kind of scene I would love to see played out in JKR's next book. Personally, I think Harry was much on the High Road with the Dursleys that he'd have to look down to see up. Keep up the great work.

Well, not too much to all this, just a lot of wish fulfillment, still nice to see. Glad you made Dudley a slightly more interesting character than just a simple sadist.

I really like it so far...
ER... I don't suppose you know how I could get notified of updates to this, do you? It doesn't seem to have a system like Fanfiction.net...
