Brilliant work. Extremely well written, and most satisfying to see how it all turned out. Love how Nym took him to Vegas before he changed his mind. LOL As I said. Brilliant work. =)

A relly interesting story, I do think your extra ideas would have improved the story, but it was very enjoyable as it is, Thanks for writing this.

Despite the things you mentioned in your A/N i still feel this is a great story and definitely the best Harry/Tonks story i've found thats completed. Read this throughout the day at work when i had down time and i thought it was fantastic. This would be one of the few stories I'd actually love a rewritten version of, just for those small things you mentioned.

Crys replied:

thanks for the compliment.  No plans (or patience) to rewrite anything, though.

I'm sorry to lose Godric :>(

Well they float not walk and it must be across any surface since they left Azkaban. Just remembered something though the dementors high above the ground going after Harry during the a quidditch match.

I've forgotten how many times I've read this classic, but it easily has withstood the test of time. While you commented about the threads you left out, I still think the story was packed with more than enough action, romance, poltics, wizarding history, exceptionally written action (regardless who actually supplied the details), wonderfully drawn secondary characters (Shack especially) and OCs, and the incredible Godric Gryffindor.

Thanks for all of this!

Crys replied:

glad you enjoyed the story.

And thank YOU for such a nice review.

Crys, as I read this chapter's fight scenes, several adverbs jumped out. They reminded me of those Jeconais uses. Your ending AN makes me wonder if you two use the same betas.

Regardless, fantastic chapter - both the broad strokes and the details!

I loved the Riddle article idea.

Did they not give him the antidote?

sylvelle posted a comment on Sunday 27th January 2013 4:16pm

Hiding is a good idea although it is not a surprise. You have Harry/Tonks ship at the beginning of each chapter.

I must admit I did hope for something else. Making poor Remus gay.. Shame on you. Actually Tonks is more acceptable to me than Hermione which is used by several of my favorite wordsmiths.

Also love you used Kingsley. I love that guy.

Love the story if not the relationship.

Im assuming that you are an NCIS fan like me since you mentioned McGee and Gibbs?

Crys replied:

You assume correctly.

A fabulously fantastic story. Very realistic, well-written characters and plot lines.

My thanks for such a wonderful tale.

had a thought when Volde was called a bastard.

We know that Tom Riddle Sr was appearantly marryed to Tom's mother when she got pregnant.

But she stoped doseing him wiht the love potion and was "turned out" before she gave birth.

Bastard is defined as a child of unwed parents or alternatively a child born out of wedlock.

It seems which definitiuon you use matters in this case

If a basilisk fang is only good for dark magic, then shouldn't a phoenix feather only be good for light magic?
Personally, it should always be the intent of the magical.
The core is simply a focus/conductor.

Ginny is showing WAY too much relationship knowledge of Harry. She just isn't that wise. If she was, she wouldn't be burning through boys at such a fast pace.
