Totally awesome story. I love the progression as well as the character development. I truly appreciate how Harry, though magically powerful and more mature than others of his age, still makes mistakes when venturing into unknown territory... such as politics. I hope that you will update this story soon as I can hardly wait to see peoples reactions to this trial... as well as the inevitable confrontation between Harry and Hermione.

Excellent chapter, and I have to admit, I found the part about Moony waking Harry up quite hilarious. I also enjoyed Harry trouncing Fudge's toady...wonderful!
Great job, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Excellent. A masterful example of a witness being coached by informed councellors. It is nice to know Harry is being helped and protected.
Thanks for another great chapter! I love this story line.

A good chapter. It leaves me wondering what Dewey was trying for, really, and what was really motivating him.

Dewey's *fishing expedition* catches nothing (except trouble for Dewey). What I personally find odd is that Harry Potter (a prosecution witness) seems to have been the one on trial (not the nine Nibblers in manacles and chains); and Dewey is working for the *Ministry*?

Good chapter. Does Voldemort want Dewey to get Harry to reveal his location or does Fudge (ie who is really behind it?)?

Having read past events of Wizengamot procedures, I do not find you taking any more liberties than the Wizengamott does. If they were doing their jobs properly, wouldn't Fudge be seated in the chain-chair?

We can quite comfortably assume that everyday procedure looks nothing like Fudge's archaic Harry Intimidation Special. Kinda like comparing a County Court [whatever the US equivalent is, Federal Circuit I guess] trial to Judge Jeffreys. The Lexicon has a couple of screwups in it anyway so altering minor details is no problem - JKR is as likely to prove you right as not. Top chapter, loved Harry's backchat. KUTGW.

Nice part chris, some fun semantics in the court, and of course, I am now wondering about the staus of Mr Decimal System's forearm.
Of course, he could just be a lawyer... is there even a difference?

Great work here. I'm really enjoying this story. I like the pairing, too. This is one of the few stories i've read with harry as gryffindore's heir that is actually, well, good! I like filius and mcgonagall's attitudes.
What happened in the chamber? I would have like to see at least a bit of that scene.
Very interesting twist with the letter at the end. I can see this blowing up very easily. does bones know about this?
Anyways, looking forward to an update soon. until then, so long, do well, win awards, and thanks for all the fish. see you in the funny papers.

Evil cliffie! Evil! Now you'll have to update again right away so I don't die of a heart attack I'll have if I'm kept in suspense too long!
