This comment makes it sound like he's amazed to find Harry's companion, not angry or jealous. Therefore I think it's Tonks. Regardless, it's a nice touch.

Excellent story! It seems, to me anyway, that it's Hermione in the bed. It could be Ginny of course, considering the odd looks Ron was giving her about putting her hand on his shoulder, but it seemed too obvious for where I thought you were going with it (letting readers decide who they preferred in bed). Outside of Ginny, how many females does he really talk to? Hope we get a sequel!

Ginny. (a) I've always favoured H/G. (b) I like her spunk and how she stood up to Ron in this and (c) I like the way she laid her hand Gently on Harry's shoulder.
One thing that I think was missing was any discussion of exclusivity, or if marriage/betrothal interfered with the offers to sire. What I mean, is, I would wonder if there was a clause that prevented Harry from accepting more than one offer. or if the offer's would care if he was betrothed or not. That sort of thing to round out the discussion.

Interesting dilemna; I suppose that most people will choose either Ginny or Tonks since they're the only two females to appear earlier, but I would've thought that, being purebloods, if it was one of them they wouldn't have let Harry be blindsided by the sorts of offers he might receive after coming of age. So with those two eliminated, my vote goes for Hermione. Of course, I'm a H/Hr shipper, so I'm prejudiced that way...

From the limited information available, I'd say it's Tonks. Evidence: "she" was in his bed, the way Tonks looked Harry over earlier in the story and her quip, their interactions, specifically when Harry asked if he'd been betrothed. :-)
