Truly excellent! I wish Harry had gotten there earlier and been able to save Draco.

Does he trust Bumbles with his life? If so, he had best re-evaluate his attitude towards the lemon-addled, pedophilic, incompetent, senile, amoral, bastard with delusions of adequacy. Please, I know the story is complete and this is my third or forth reading, but in some story, take that stick out of Min butt and make her more humane to the children under her "care."

Poor Draco! I hope Lucius dies, painfully, and soon, for what he's done.
Crys replied:
There are fates far worse than death to be had for a proud aristocrat such as he.

Thank you for killing off Draco, nothing makes me quit a fic faster than a redeemed Draco. There are a few exceptions, notably the Dangerverse series.
I do understand why Harry is acting the way he is. If I were 16 years old, had almost unlimited power and wealth, I'd lord it over people too.
I rarely read fics where the trio is broken, its only the quality of your writing that makes this one palatable. I just skim over the parts where Ron's acting like a spoiled brat and Hermione's acting like a harpy. I look forward to more chapters.

Poor DUMBledore! Spanked by the *Sorting Hat*! Did the Headmaster forget that Hogwarts herself is sentient? Someone give Albus a clue, please!

What a waste. I hate Malfoy and love to see him and Snape turn into toast, but you gave us a few scenes of Malfoy considering his life and then you just kill him and not even let Harry hit Lucy. You are cruel...

Ah...even though Draco turned his back on his Malfoy name I still feel no pity at his death.
I also continue to enjoy Harry sticking it to Dumbledore. On to 36.

At the rate Albus is going, will we find Harry working out some variant of the Fidelius charm? 'The first name of Lord Potter-Black is Harry.' or the like? He'd be able to tell the people who he wanted to call him by name, but Albus (and Fudge, however much longer he lasts), would finally have to acknowledge that, yes, he's Lord Potter, and no, he doesn't like them.
Crys replied:
*blink* LOL
That, Ronnie, is brilliant.

Lovely. Absolutely lovely. Thank you very much for this chapter. I enjoyed it immensely. I doubt much that Dumbledore or Snape have learned anything, though. Keep up the excellent work.

So, you killed Draco!! I can't say I'm heartbroken over it - in an author's response you reminded me that he was still selfish and not 'converted' into being one of the good guys. He might have been difficult to keep writing into the story?
WHY WAS HERMIONE AT THE RAVENCLAW TABLE??? Has she decided that the Gryffindor credo in general - action before thought - is untenable, or is it just a personal reaction to Ron? Hermione being my favourite character I hope to read about this eventually later on?
Warding against legilimency was a great idea, as was the notion of Alistair gifting Harry with three memories - that was a novel and quite touching notion.
Crys replied:
I killed Draco for a whole variety of reasons. One of them was that I was having a difficult time figuring out what to do with him, but that wasn't the primary one.
Hermione being at the Ravenclaw table will be explained in chapter 37.

Very great chapter, I'm sorry to hear about Draco being killed by his Dad, he might be a git and Harry and him don't get on, but Draco shouldn't been killed.
Keep up the good work, and PLEASE update real soon.

Excellent if sad chapter, sucks that Draco had to be killed, and hopefulyl lucius will get his soon. Great job with how harry dealt with snape and ron and how ginny managed the response. The dialogue is great and the plot continues to be fresh and move along at a nice pace, though I expect it will speed up a bit with the ending of the hols. Cheers!

Ah, a chapter well worth the wait. The fight at the Leaky Cauldron was nicely done and, while I hated to see it, Draco's death was well-scripted. The scenes at Hogwart's definitely worked well, adhering to what had already been established while developing things further. I do hope Ron learns something from what he almost caused; points to Ginny for recognizing the potential for trouble and quickly defusing it.
