This should be interesting, since Harry usually in not paired with a pureblood only legal situation. Of course, from an expository standpoint, Harry is the perfect wizard for this to happen to, given his almost complete lack of knowledge about most things 'Pureblood,' not to mention legal or marital. Wonder if there will be a meeting/confrontation with Daphne and Tracey's parents, since this form of contract is unusual and highly one-sided for the wizard. Also, nice way to slam these practices, since 'we've always done it this way' is not a reason for allowing Lucius to broker these arrangements. Excellent start!

Reasonably good stuff here I think. I've actually read most of the stuff in Odd Ideas (its just one of those things you hit iteratively, don't read through it all at once, but a bunch of stories, and then two weeks later come back, etc).
I like how you are doing this, and sort of getting to see how the interaction develops will be interesting.

Hmm, I like the way this is going. Very unusual way to get a pair of brides. Personally, I'd like to see Hermione as the main wife, but you have your own agenda. Can't see her with Ron, despite what JKR wrote. She's too smart for Ron.

I'm glad to hear Hermione disgusted with Ron shortly after finding out that Harry still needs a wife. After all, she'll need to keep an eye on him...

They don't seem too oposed to the idea of getting intimate with Harry... too bad they both can't be ´real ´ wifes, like one Lady Potter and one Lady Black.
That would really make Malfoy blow up.

Harry wishes they could, too. He's REALLY uncomfortable with the idea of owing chattel. Rather have them as "wives".

I really enjoy this chapter and I am looking forward to seeing how it develops. I like how you've captured everyone's personality and you've managed to put some action and tension in this story. I feel this story has the potential to become very wide in scope dealing with both this new plot development and the cannon story line (well roughly anyway). Your writing style is one of my favorites and I've reread this chapter several times just to enjoy it. I like how you've managed to bring so many characters together and still have the focus remain on the the major players. Yes, this could become very wide-ranging, but I'm going to keep it focused on Harry.
This is most definitely an AU. They're in 7th year, AD is alive and hale, horcruxes don't exist.

This was a fun chapter to read. I've read many stories of Harry getting pulled into a multiwife/herem situation - but I've never seen Hermione used as the fulcrum before. You know, it's been so long since I read this and talked to you, i've forgotten all the details. So it's like reading it fresh.
Nice bit on the friendliness between Harry and Fil. And the segue into the Min comments. Harry's more of an equal - they see him as such, or at least friends.

Thank you. I just wanted to say that I like this story very much. I am so looking forward to reading many more chapters. It's nice to read something other than Ron Heromine & Ginny. In all honesty I do not like Ginny for Harry. Is Dumbledore going to remain evil? I hope so.As a question, would Daphane & Tracey be able to challange Harry to a token duel to free themselves? or must it be terminal? Again I look forward to reading much more, not only this story, however other stories by yourself as well.
