And another story with a mystery ending. No mention in the body of the story of anybody being hit in the eye.

In canon, Lee Jordan usually did the announcing for interhouse Quidditch, with Professor McGonagall _trying_ to keep some sort of rein on him. But this time we have McGonagall in earnest discussion with Sprout and Snape, so I'm not sure who, if anybody, is riding herd on the announcer.

Crys replied:

Snape (who's livid), McG, and Sprout go off to "talk" about what is going on.   McG and Sprout come back, one of them with a black eye.   The reader can fill in the blanks about anything happening "off camera".

Yes, Lee did the announcing, but this is Harry's 6th or 7th year (he's captain).   Lee's graduated.   This announcer is much calmer about things, and so none of the professors are there to ride herd on him.

Thanks for the review.

A completely hilarious story and one I enjoyed reading a lot.

LMFAO! Great little one-shot. I always wondered why the other houses didn't have even a smidgen of backbone and announce that they refuse to participate in the house point system so long as one of the Heads of House is allowed to continue CHEATING the system and encourage cheating in his House. After all, the competition was there to help promote good behavior and studying/academic effort but yet for 1/4th of the school it promoted the exact opposite while Snape was Head of Slytherin.

Crys replied:

That's always bugged me, too.   Snape's blatant abuse of the point system is addressed in one of my other stories, "Scion of Gryffindor".

Thanks for reviewing.

Cute, but went on a little too long after the setup I think. I like the last line though. hehe.
